FaxSnap ("we", "our", "the app") is developed and operated by Nixes. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use FaxSnap.

Information We Collect

Account Identifier. We generate a unique, anonymous identifier tied to your Apple ID to manage your page balance and fax history. We do not collect your name, email address, or Apple ID credentials.

Fax Data. When you send a fax, we temporarily process:

• The document you upload (PDF)
• The recipient fax number and name you provide
• The number of pages sent

Documents are transmitted to our fax delivery partner (Sinch) for sending and are not stored on our servers after transmission.

Purchase Data. When you purchase page packs, Apple processes the payment. We receive a signed transaction record from Apple to verify the purchase and credit pages to your account. We do not have access to your payment method or billing details.

Fax History. We store a record of your sent faxes (recipient number, recipient name, page count, delivery status, and date) so you can view your history within the app.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Personal identification (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
• Analytics or tracking data
• Contacts (the app accesses contacts only when you choose to pick a recipient, and data is not transmitted or stored)

How We Use Your Information

• To send faxes on your behalf via our delivery partner
• To manage your page balance
• To display your fax history
• To verify in-app purchases

Third-Party Services

We use third-party service providers to deliver faxes and process payments. These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their function (e.g., the document and recipient number for fax delivery). We do not sell or share your information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Fax history records are retained as long as your account exists. Documents are not stored after transmission. You can delete individual history entries within the app.

Data Security

All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Documents are transmitted securely to our fax delivery partner.

Children's Privacy

FaxSnap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
