FaxSnap ("we", "our", "the app") is developed and operated by Nixes. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use FaxSnap.
Account Identifier. We generate a unique, anonymous identifier tied to your Apple ID to manage your page balance and fax history. We do not collect your name, email address, or Apple ID credentials.
Fax Data. When you send a fax, we temporarily process:
Documents are transmitted to our fax delivery partner (Sinch) for sending and are not stored on our servers after transmission.
Purchase Data. When you purchase page packs, Apple processes the payment. We receive a signed transaction record from Apple to verify the purchase and credit pages to your account. We do not have access to your payment method or billing details.
Fax History. We store a record of your sent faxes (recipient number, recipient name, page count, delivery status, and date) so you can view your history within the app.
App Usage Analytics. The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how people move through sending a fax and buying pages, so we can fix where they get stuck. It records these events: document selected (and whether it came from the camera, Photos, or Files, with its page count), recipient entered (and whether a cover page was added), fax confirmed, fax sent, fax failed (with a short reason), fax retried, page packs viewed, and purchase started, completed, or cancelled (with the pack chosen). Firebase also collects standard device and app information such as app version, device model, operating system version, and an app-instance identifier it generates. Analytics data never includes your documents, fax numbers, recipient names, or cover page text, and it is not linked to your identity.
We use third-party service providers to deliver faxes (Sinch), process payments (Apple), and measure app usage (Google Firebase Analytics). These providers receive only the information necessary to perform their function (e.g., the document and recipient number for fax delivery). We do not sell or share your information for advertising or marketing purposes.
Fax history records are retained as long as your account exists. Documents are not stored after transmission. You can delete individual history entries within the app.
All communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Documents are transmitted securely to our fax delivery partner.
FaxSnap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
